A Sewer Main Line Extension is required when property within the District is to be served but does not currently have main line frontage - or requires additional service / system capability.
The extension process begins with a review process coordinated thru the Property Developer and the Southgate Engineering department. Once blue lines have reached a substantial level of compliance, plans are then reviewed by the City of Englewood's Engineering department.
Initial review of drawings cannot begin until
Submittals generally consist of two full size (24” x 36”) paper sets with a Cover Page, General Notes Page, Overall Utility Plan, Sewer Plan and Profile Page, and a Details Page. See the Sewer Review Checklist for a summary of plan expectations.
Approved plans and recorded easement (if required) are required before a preconstruction meeting can be held and construction can then begin.
