Customers must have a Hydrant Use Permit before using water from a Southgate fire hydrant for construction, landscaping, demolition, street cleaning and other approved uses.
Hydrant Use Permit application forms are available online only. You must have a PDF copy of your current Denver Water Hydrant Use Permit to complete the online form. More information on obtaining a Denver Water permit is available on their website.

Southgate is no longer charging fees for a Hydrant Use Permit (a savings of $50/month); however, a fine will be assessed if a current Hydrant Use Permit is not on-site of the hydrant in use.
